Programs
The Young Professionals Network (YPN)
of the Quad Cities helps you explore the social,
professional, and cultural opportunities in the Quad
Cities. YPN is a growing network of young
professionals, in their 20's & 30's, from the Iowa
and Illinois Quad Cities. From socializing with
friends, meeting new people, networking with
professional and community contacts, learning about
important community issues, volunteering for area
non-profit organizations, building leadership skills,
and impacting the area's quality of life - YPN has
something for everyone!
YPN programs include:
YPN Monthly: Join friends and
other young professionals after work at YPN's monthly
social event in the Quad Cities. YPN hosts this
event typically on the first Thursday of each month at
an area restaurant, bar, or special venue for young
professionals to socialize with friends, meet new
people, make business and
community contacts, and experience the Quad Cities
quality of life.
YPN CEO Roundtable/Access Quad Cities: During
the lunch hour, join YPN for a conversation with Quad
Cities business and community leaders related to career,
business, leadership, and important issues developing
across the Quad Cities. Network, eat lunch, and
gain great insight as YPN showcases a different speaker
and venue each month.

YPNgage: Get engaged in the Quad Cities
community by volunteering for area organizations and
non-profit agencies. YPN works to inform you about
general volunteer opportunities, group service
activities, and openings to serve on boards, committees,
and fundraising councils. In addition, YPN can
help you learn more about non-profit operations and
board functions and how to become active in community

YPN Hot Spot Card: Receive exclusive discounts
by using your YPN Hot Spot Card at Quad Cities'
retailers, restaurants, bars/nightclubs, and
entertainment and cultural amenities. Through
YPN's partnerships, you can receive discounts at over 40
locations! Hot Spot Cards are free to everyone in

YPN Interest Clubs: Connect with a group of young
people who share similar interests as you. You can
join an existing group or start your own. YPN is
here to help! Current clubs include: Book, Cigar,
Fitness, Hunting, Poker, Progressive Dinner, Skiing,
Travel, and Wine Club.
Special Events: YPN hosts a variety of events
each year that bring people together for a good
time. Past events include: Chicago Cubs game, New
Year's Party, Super Bowl Party, and more.
Emerging Professionals Network(EPN): If you're an
area college student, then EPN is for you.
Experience social and professional opportunities located
in the Quad Cities while you're still in college.
