Club - Join the Wine Club at a tasting benefit
to support the Red Cross of the Quad Cities.
Lavender Crest Winery in Colona, IL will be hosting a
wine tasting on Thursday, March 27th from 5:00 -
8:00pm. Come enjoy wine tasting, hor d'oeuvres,
live music and a silent auction. Tickets are $7 in
advance and $9 at the door. You can get your

Club - Fathom presents a presentation of
Puccini’s La Bohème in HD on the Big Screen!
The live presentation is 12:30 CST on Saturday, April
5th at the Showcase Cinemas in Davenport, admission
is $22.00. A magnificent cast comes together for Franco
Zeffirelli’s iconic production of the Puccini
favorite. The exciting young conductor Nicola Luisotti
presides over a glorious vocal ensemble led by the
mesmerizing Angela Gheorghiu, who sings Mimì at the Met
for the first time in twelve years, opposite
golden-toned tenor Ramón Vargas as her lover, Rodolfo.
As an aside, this opera is the basis for the
storyline/setting of the popular musical RENT (much like
Romeo and Juliet is the basis for West Side Story). For
